Module (MW) - Material Management
The MW module was designed mainly for warehouse management and the receipt and issuing of goods in the processing industry.
Warehouse Management:
- Warehouse stock management of materials/batches/articles by storage spaces/areas and quantity units.
- Storage/retrieval, stock transfer, release, freeze, splitting of raw materials.
- Cell/silo/place inventory management based on the layer model.
- Material cost units can be entered in combination with the cost and activity accounting module (KL) to
- calculate the value of materials in storage.
- Storage stock lists totalised by storage space, storage location, articles, batch numbers…
- Stock-taking programmes
Receipt of goods/purchasing:
- Create procedures for the receipt of goods with first and second weighings.
- Storage procedures for packaged and bulk goods, laboratory instructions
Issuing of goods/delivery:
- Generate customer order files.
- Delivery tour planning, also with graphical support (map & guide)
Order picking:
- Retrieval operations for packaged and bulk goods
- Material management for purchasing:
- Create and manage contracts with suppliers.
- Create and manage orders and calls.
- Create and manage article prices and categories, payment targets, freight tables.
Material management for deliveries:
- Create and manage contracts with customers.
- Billing
- Generate contract statistics
